Tapa Cloth drawings!

 Room 12 students have been making a bunch of patterns in our tapa cloth drawings. We used either a black vivid or a black coloring pencil to make it stand out more. These tapas are related to our pasifika study about all the different pacific countries. This helps us remember knowledge about the pasifika cultures. We also made pasifika flowers and explanations of how to make your own amazing, homemade and beautiful tapa cloth!

Skipping Practice In Progress!

In the past few weeks we Room 12 ( including Room 11) have been practicing skipping and tricks to show off in our display! We have done warm ups and different combinations to help improve and expand our knowledge and skills about skipping! Once we get used to skipping and learning more advanced tricks we might be ready to show our display at our School so we can be better than before! Right now we are developing skills so we can be ready and increase our stamina/endurance so we can skip longer and the key to skipping longer is by practicing again and again so you can get the hang of it!

🥛National Milk Day!🥛

Today was a beautiful day to start drinking our milk! The reason why we were all excited was because it was National Milk Day! The meaning of National Milk is that we all drink our milk and we take photos of us drinking a milk and post a blog about National Milk Day. The date of our National Milk Day in NZ is Thursday 1st of June. Usually we would all drink our milk with boredom, sometimes anger and sadness, but today we all felt all excited, filled with joy, amazed and inspired by happiness because it was national milk day. So today was an amazing and exciting day to drink our milk! We also felt stronger and more fit because remember, milk contains calcium, sugar free, and heaps of energy so we can go through our day with no problem! Milk is also good for our bones, muscles, and increases our strength, stamina, endurance, and speed! So whenever there is milk in your fridge, make sure you should drink alot to get energized and no longer lazy and tired.
